New Regulations Could help Thousands of Children
The new Building Regulation 93 (BB93) – Acoustics in School Design in UK includes stricter requirements on noise levels and reverberation time within classrooms. It also contains increased recognition for hearing impaired children and new requirements on sound insulation. Very interesting is the introduction of third party control bodies to ensure designs conform to BB93.
