Going beyond the requirements of BB 93?

"School acoustics after BB93 - practical problems and solutions" is a report compiled to assess the implementation of the British Building Bulletin 93 "Acoustic design of schools", also called BB93.

The author, acoustic consultant Adrian James concludes that BB 93 might sometimes not be stringent enough. Some schools, some situations, some areas could require more than what BB93 points out as desirable levels. He writes: "BB 93 can not offer a definitive acoustic design for each individual project, nor can it remove the need for intelligent design"
