EIAS 2011 room acoustics seminar - the latest knowledge in room acoustics Saint-Gobain Ecophon organised the 6th Ecophon International Acousticians´ Seminar in Sweden (September 21-22). A great variety of speakers from many different countries communicated the latest knowledge connected to room acoustics and the effects of sound on people. This does not only relate to recycling of materials and reduction of emissions etc. but also acoustic quality matters. The workshop, chaired by Peter Rogers, highlighted the relevance of acoustics in sustainability and its' role connected to green building certifications or ratings.
