Interview with James Whitlock – EIAS 2011

Sara Holmqvist talks to James Whitlock from Auckland, New Zealand.

James specializes in the Lombard effect and recently did a study using “near-mouth” microphones to determine voice loudness patterns in various noise environments.

The Ecophon International Acousticians’ Seminar was held on September 21-22, 2011. The seminar joined experts from the acoustic field in Båstad, Sweden, to discuss matters of room acoustics – in the search for optimum room acoustics.
