Groundbreaking initiative from Quiet Mark with new Acoustics Academy launch

During the Surface Design Awards 2020 at the Business Design Centre in London, Quiet Mark launched their new Acoustics Academy. with a TED-style master-class event. The Acoustics Academy is a new online platform. which is intended to further equip and empower architects, builders and designers with an expertly verified guide of leading acoustic solutions for every building application area.

The new Quiet Mark online platform is intended to clarify the complex world of sound in the building sector and help decision makers compare and appreciate the most reliable and appropriate products on the market. There are seven acoustics covered by the comprehensive platform which are listed below:

A broad range of sectors and premises are covered by the platform including; residential, transport infrastructure, entertainment, commercial, offices, industrial, civic, kindergartens, schools, higher education and universities, hospitals, treatment centres, laboratories and governmental premises.

This launch is just the beginning of a broader campaign to reach out and connect with the building sector and raise the importance of acoustics in to everyday consciousness – we support this groundbreaking initiative and look forward to the upcoming roadshows and podcasts which will be happen over the coming months this year.

Timed to celebrate the 60th anniversary year of the Quiet Mark associated UK Noise Abatement Society, this special launch event featured a high-calibre panel of thought-leader industry speakers, each sharing their valuable experience with the challenges of, and passion for, the wonders of acoustic design.
